We completely changed the way Backlinks will work in V2. This is the most important thing to understand about why you MUST make the update to V2!
By now you will have heard that V2 is going to be released as a WordPress plugin. We do this because we had some issues with the JavaScript embed code indexing the available data and backlinks much too slowly. Also, WordPress powers more than 44% of the internet, which makes it a no-brainer for new potential users.
The new plugin resolves the data naturally before the Google crawler scans the page, so all data and backlinks will be instantly visible to every external tool.
With V2 we will also introduce new categories, custom filters and an algorithm that resembles a so called daisychain to create your UNIQUE partner link scheme.
Not available with only 1 code!
You need to unlock this feature by stacking up to 2 codes, so EVERYONE using 2 codes or more can have a DIFFERENT partner directory! When you do not stack up, you will still be able to use the WordPress plugin and benefit from all V1 fixes (read the first email above), but you will NOT get access to the newly developed features (as introduced in the email 2 above).
Why is this important?
Instead of linking out to ALL 220+ connected partners 1:1, you can now select only ONE category to link out to and receive backlinks from. Which means, you will no longer link out or receive backlinks from totally unrelated niches, but only highly-related and valuable links from partners that fit your actual business.
Depending on how many codes you have stacked, your individual filters and blacklist functionality will even help you to get rid of any unwanted competitors or low-quality websites in the mix.
This is especially important to keep your site in context with your industry niche AND to protect it from any possible penalties. We understand that not everyone wants to publicly display the V1 directory because of this wild mix. But as long as the partner page is being indexed in the sitemap, the system will still work for V1, even for non-WordPress users. We will keep V1 alive until we can provide another solution to install a PHP script on your system to enable all the new V2 features for other websites.
With V2 you will now be PROUD of your partner directory and there is no reason to try to hide and cheat the system anymore. As a way to make sure no one will be able to cheat at all, we will now start to enforce the partner page and monitor the live status. Which means, that you cannot even get listed or receive backlinks when you do not keep up the live partner page on your WordPress website.
BUT WAIT – AM I LOSING BACKLINKS NOW?
Actually, YES! This new system means you will lose ALL backlinks that you would NOT want to link back to you! Actually, that is a good thing! After you apply all the possible filters and kick out any unwanted and unrelated partners – you could end up with only a handful of backlinks left.
Especially, as we are introducing many new categories to offer the solution to a wider audience, some categories will have more initial partners than others. But even if you only start with a handful of partners in your list, that is also a good thing, because your link scheme would grow more naturally. Instead of dumping a wild mix of 200+ backlinks on your site in just one day, you will grow with a selection of cherry-picked partner backlinks that provide highly-related context in your own niche. And it will still grow on autopilot as we onboard new users every day.
With 3 codes stacked you can even unlock to filter by Domain Authority and SPAMscore, which would only keep the very best backlinks you could ever imagine!
And remember, in our Crypto Rockstars case study, we only had a total of 30 backlinks from high DA media partners that provided the best context and dominated the first 4 pages of Google search in just 8 weeks. (Your individual results might vary!)
Full Protection from Google Penalties
The reason for this change on how we handle the partner matchmaking is to provide only the best backlinks for your website as well as full PROTECTION from future Google search algorithm changes.
